Forum: movies Subject: 9/11 Television Archive gone?

Recently I was given a list of videos on this site of live television coverage from Sept. 11. Yesterday morning I began downloading the first BBC ~40 min segment from a list like this one:

There were 420 results from BBC, CBS, FOX, ABC, etc. in segments. The same search today (http://www.archive.org/search.php?query=title%3A%28Sept.%2011%29&sort=-date) gives 9 results. Many of the direct video links that used to work give a 403 Forbidden error.

Can anyone please tell me what happened to these hundreds of videos?

Yeah, it's gone. I'm guessing it has something to do with the BBC and censorship.

Hope someone downloaded them. You should be able to find them on BT.

Here's forty plus GB's of them. I was downloading the BBC one, but they "pulled it" while I was downloading. It doesn't have any audio, or I'd post it.

The BBC now claims they no longer have the footage and that the reporter doesn't remember what happened that day:

I downloaded the unedited BBC video in question from archive.org before it "disappeared." Yes, the reporter is saying WTC7 has collasped while it is clearly visible over her shoulder. The feed from NYC is suddenly "lost" about 5 minutes before the actual time the building falls.

Versions of the BBC video, some edited with commentary, are available on google and youtube, but many of these have been reported to be removed shortly after being posted. Unless the Archive restores it, your best bet to get it from bit torrent.

Hmm...They say they would very much like to have a copy of the original. I would sure like to hear an explanation from IA on this.

This is another post on the same topic. The official response is that they were supposed to be streaming only, but someone downloaded them and now they are "fixing" it. Let's keep this topic alive and loud. This is very suspicious considering the BBC/WTC7 story that is gaining ground. I am ashamed of IA. This may actually violate their own terms. It certainly dosen't jive with the mission statement. We need a real explanation.

No kidding! It says at the top right of the webpage "Universal access to human knowledge". I really hope we get full unfettered access to such important data. I hope this doesn't turn out to be another Convar 9/11 job.

Perhaps the misunderstanding that day arose from the famous quote that the building had been 'pulled'. The fire dept pulled out and apparently there had been extensive structural damage and several floors bowing outward at the time. I believe it was at this point that reports of collapse had started coming in, just before it actually collapsed. This was a point of confusion during a very confusing day. No more...no less. Just more food for the consipracy people. So now the BBC was involved too? Wow! you people better watch out! The CIA and FBI and NSA and the BBC will have you killed next for discovering the truth...be afraid!

Rosie captured it all on a kaleidoscope and transfered it to view master format. She just won't release it because the reptilian bush will suck her brain out, especially if she takes off the tinfoil hat. Attempts by vidoedrome agents to infiltrate and hookup the machine from the movie I cannot recall or find online have failed. I always get the movie mixed up with scanners and deadzone.

They had a machine that records your thoughts, feelings, vision, etc. You could record yourself skydiving for instance and someone else could play it back, why can't I find that anywhere? A guy had a heart attack playing a recording of someone doing it with a prostitute. Someone recorded themselves dying and the main thing was "will someone play it to see what happened?".

Anyone?

Yup, I was downloading it yesterday and it miraculously disappeared. All directories from the BBC in that URL aren gone.......
With the 'original'lost, they can claim that only copies of the original are all around and don't have to comment on it.....
